Student Account Activation

At Sunway College, we encourage independent study. To cultivate this spirit, we provide an online portal dedicated to ensuring students are able to take full advantage of online learning.

Newly enrolled students have to complete these steps in order to gain access to Sunway College’s e-learning platform:

Step 1: Activate Your Student Account

Students can log into the system with their Student ID and default password.
Student IDs (8 digits) can be found in offer letters.
For the default password, students must input it in this format: YYYYMMMXXXX
- YYYY refers to student’s year of birth
- MMM refers to student’s month of birth
- Must be typed in letters with the first letter capitalised
- XXXX referts to the last 4 digits of student’s IC number (Malaysian students) or Passport number (international students)
- Example: 2000Feb5104
All student accounts can only be activated 7 DAYS prior to your orientation.

Step 2: Change Your Password

Once you have successfully logged in, students must change their passwords. Change your password regularly to ensure your data is kept safe. After you have activated your account, kindly allow the learning management system to sync your new password before logging in again – this process should take 60 minutes.

Student Council

Sunway College’s Student Council is here to guide and assist students throughout their undergraduate journeys. They are a leadership body composed of students who act as the bridge of communication between enrolled students and Sunway College’s management.

Everyone is welcome to join and participate in the Student Council or events organised by the Student Council. There are a total of six departments, composed of different members from various programmes who work together to organise and manage events and improve the overall learning experience at Sunway College.
