Sunway TES College JB Inspires Future Leaders Through Outreach Programmes

Sunway TES College Johor Bahru (STESJB) continued to engage secondary school students across Johor through a series of outreach initiatives focused on academic exploration, leadership development and career readiness.

As part of its school engagement efforts, STESJB welcomed students from SMK Tun Mamat, Tangkak for a Beyond Accounting session, where a Sunway TES lecturer introduced students to accounting studies and related career pathways. The session also featured an introduction to the STESJB campus and its programmes, giving students a glimpse into the learning environment and opportunities available.

The Sunway TES Future Leaders Challenge 2026 brought together students from MRSM Mersing, MRSM Tun Dr Ismail and MRSM Johor Bahru for an interactive leadership experience. Through a series of challenges, participants put their teamwork, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills into practice while exploring the STESJB campus and learning more about study pathways.

Meanwhile, STESJB brought its career-readiness efforts to MRSM Muar through a Mock Interview Programme, giving students the opportunity to experience a real interview setting and practise their communication and interview skills. The session also strengthened STESJB’s engagement with MRSM Muar while supporting students as they prepare for their future academic and career journeys.

Together, these initiatives reflect STESJB’s efforts to connect with students beyond the classroom, providing opportunities to explore different fields of study, develop essential skills and gain a better understanding of the pathways ahead.
