MUFY Community Unites to Help Vulnerable Children with Donation Drives

This year, the MUFY Student Council organised two donation drives to support children in need. The first drive held in March 2024, in partnership with ShareAngel, helped Pertubuhan Pusat Kebajikan Destiny in Klang, which aids underprivileged children and families. The centre offers day-care, schooling, vocational training, and food delivery to empower children and single mothers. The MUFY community together with ShareAngel donated items such as clothes, toiletries, and school supplies, much needed by the children in this centre.

The second drive organised in September 2024 supported House of Joy, an organisation that provides shelter and care for orphans, and children facing abuse, neglect, or poverty. Alongside donations of clothes, school supplies, and books, the MUFY Student Council raised RM2500 to assist the home.

Both drives significantly improved the well-being and education of the children, highlighting MUFY's dedication to making a positive impact in the community.
