MUFY’s “Deepavali Nankodai (Gifts)” for B40 families from SJK (T) Kampung Pandan

To meaningfully celebrate Deepavali this year, MUFY Staff and the MUFY Student Council organised the MUFY “Sharity” Bazaar in October 2023 to fundraise for MUFY’s “Deepavali Nankodai (Gifts)”, a community outreach activity aimed at helping B40 families.

Approximately RM7000 was successfully raised through the bazaar and the funds were channelled into providing daily necessities to twenty (20) low-income families from Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Kampung Pandan.

MUFY staff and students were invited to the school’s Deepavali celebration on 10 November 2023 to meet the students and to personally deliver the provisions to them.
