MUFY's Gift of Love to Cornerstone Orphanage Home

MUFY students and staff visited Cornerstone Orphanage Home (COH) in Semenyih, Selangor to spend time with the children and to pass them the RM18500 raised during the annual MUFY ‘Sharity’ Carnival. The visit was truly an eye opener on the unseen plight of these orphans.

COH was established by Angie Retnam in 2003 with the purpose of providing food, shelter and tender loving care to orphans, abandoned, abused and underprivileged children in a family environment. It aims to be a place where these children can find purpose and hope from their painful past and to give them a fulfilled life. There are currently about 20 children aged from 5 to 19 years old under COH’s care.

Angie shared that running short of funds at the end of the month is the biggest recurring challenge as she struggles to put a roof over the children’s head. She thanked MUFY for the contribution and support.

We, at MUFY, hope that our little contribution and visit has blessed the children at COH.
