SDS Encourages Lecturers to ‘shine bright like a diamond’ in the industry

In the dynamic landscape of education, the role of lecturers goes beyond traditional teaching. Sunway Diploma Studies (SDS) recognizes the significance of cultivating a faculty that imparts knowledge to students at the same time actively contributes to and excels in their respective industries.

Recently, one of its lecturers from the new program, Diploma in Digital Creative Content (DDCC), Haiqal Hairuddin was announced to be one of the winners of the ‘Anugerah Podcast SYOK 2023’.

Held at the AICB Centre of Excellence (ACE) in Kuala Lumpur on December 8, 2023, the award aims to recognize podcast enthusiasts in Malaysia and their inspirational stories.

The winners were selected through a public vote by Malaysians for their favourite podcasts via the official SYOK website from November 30 to December 4, 2023.

Authenticity, uniqueness, storytelling, and audience size are among the many criteria established during the nomination process. The winners also underwent assessment by professional juries for all five main categories and two special categories.

SDS takes immense pride in the achievements of its lecturers within the industry as they extend to the classroom, where students benefit directly from the wealth of real-world expertise brought by their educators.

Lecturers who have excelled in their industries infuse their teaching with practical insights, bridging the gap between theory and application.
