A-Level Students Hosts Media Training Session with Sunway Education Branding & Corporate Communications

The Sunway A-Level Student Committee (ALSCO) recently hosted a media training session to equip its members with practical communication skills for both academic and leadership pursuits.

The session featured Ms Kylie Chow and Ms Khairiah from Sunway Education’s Branding & Corporate Communications department, who shared valuable insights into public relations and social media. Through engaging discussions and case studies, students gained a deeper understanding of how effective communication can enhance their roles within ALSCO and prepare them for future endeavours.

Over the course of the training, students were introduced to the fundamentals of PR and social media, best practices for effective engagement, and the principles of professional communication.

Ms Kylie and Ms Khairiah also spoke about their real-world experiences in managing branding and corporate communications, giving students a behind-the-scenes look into the strategies that shape how organisations communicate with diverse audiences.

The session was highly interactive, with ALSCO members asking insightful questions, exploring ways to apply the knowledge within their committee, and taking part in hands-on activities to put their learning into practice.
