Sunway Conference on Learning and Teaching (SCLT)

Sunway Conference on Learning and Teaching (SCLT)

About The Conference

Organised by Sunway Pre-University Studies, the Sunway Conference on Learning and Teaching (SCLT) started as the Sunway Pre-University Conference. The inaugural Sunway Pre-University Conference was held in 2009 with the theme ‘Innovative Thoughts, Invigorating Teaching’. Encouraged by the response from participants, subsequent Conferences were held to explore the following themes:

  • Learning Within and Beyond the Classroom (2012)
  • Unlocking Borders in Education (2014)
  • Teaching and Learning: Rethink. Redefine. Reinvent (2016)
  • Education in Challenging Times (2018)
  • Education for a Sustainable Future (2022)

Evolving from the Sunway Pre-University Conference, SCLT presents a broader focus and expanded reach that extend beyond pre-university studies and national borders. This creates a platform for educators involved in all levels of education to share their knowledge, insights and best practices in the teaching and learning space. By bringing together both local and regional practitioners with a common interest, SCLT also provides an excellent opportunity to network and make meaningful connections.

SCLT 2024 will be held on 7th September 2024. We invite participants from all areas of teaching and learning to join us for an exciting day of discourse, enquiry and discovery as we explore the theme ‘The Future of Learning: Trends, Innovations, and Opportunities.’

We look forward to your participation in SCLT 2024!
