Resounding SHOUT OUT to Class of 2023, June 2022 Intake for the INCREDIBLE achievements!

Sunway College and its ‘Fast Tracked, Globally Recognised, and University Ready’ Australia Matriculation programme (AUSMAT) have once again proven to the world, that Malaysia is an educational force to be reckoned with.

AUSMAT at Sunway College has grown into the largest provider of the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) in the world, with a 96% graduation rate in 2023. While maintaining the standards of excellence, AUSMAT always strives to be pioneer, spearheading the push into the digital era. It was awarded the “Best Smart School” by EduTech Asia before the COVID-19 pandemic, and continues its effort to modernise, resulting in an MIEE (Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert) certified base of lecturers, incorporating the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals across its wide range of subjects, in full compliance with the international high standard of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority of Western Australia. Now, AUSMAT is well prepared to integrate the latest cutting-edge AI tools into its syllabi in preparing students for a world-class education in line with today’s fast-moving technology world.

The unwavering commitment and hard work of this special June 2022 intake has culminated in the most impressive results in AUSMAT with

  • 32% of students scoring ATAR 90 and above (placing them in the top 10% of WACE scorers worldwide)
  • 63% of students scoring ATAR 80 and above (placing them in the top 20% of WACE scorers worldwide)
  • 81% of students scoring ATAR 70 and above
  • 92% of students scoring ATAR 60 and above

Congratulations to our amazing alumni Loke Lysha, Yap Kim Eng, and Yap Xuan Lin for making AUSMAT and Sunway College extremely proud with their astounding achievements of ATAR 99 and above (placing them in the top 1% of WACE scorers worldwide).

With these fantastic results, AUSMAT alumni, more than ever, are in the best possible position for the next step of their academic journey with clear advantages as their academic foundation along with university-ready skills are solid.
