Celebrating Sunway’s Harvard Prize Book 2026 Recipients

Congratulations to the Harvard Prize Book 2026 winners and finalists from Sunway College and Sunway International School, who were recognised for their academic achievements, personal character and contributions to their school and community.

Since 1910, Harvard University has awarded the prestigious Harvard Prize Book to outstanding students worldwide in recognition of their accomplishments and promise.

Cyrus Choong Min Jie, a PETRONAS scholar from the Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) programme, was named the Category 1 winner. Joining Cyrus as finalists in Category 1 were Kok Feng from the Cambridge GCE A-Level programme and Yewon Kim from the International Baccalaureate programme, who were acknowledged for their accomplishments and contributions.

In Category 2, Ho Min Ru from Grade 11 emerged as the winner, while Dasol Kim, also from Grade 11, was recognised as a finalist.

Each winner received a copy of the Harvard Prize Book, a certificate endorsed by the Harvard Club of Malaysia and a RM1,000 cash prize in recognition of their accomplishments and academic potential.

The ceremony celebrated the students’ achievements to date while marking an exciting milestone as they prepare for the next chapter of their academic journeys and future aspirations.
