Discovering What’s Next: Career Discovery Workshop for AUSMAT Students

What if discovering your future career starts with understanding yourself? On 1 October 2026, 115 AUSMAT students participated in a half-day Career Discovery Workshop designed to help them explore their interests, recognise their strengths and discover potential study and career pathways. Using the RIASEC career assessment as a starting point, students went beyond personality insights through interactive activities, group discussions and guided reflection, connecting their individual characteristics with real-world possibilities.

The initiative was made possible through the partnership between Sunway Career Services and Master of Counselling students. At Sunway College, career development begins long before graduation. By helping students make informed decisions about their futures, we empower them to move forward with greater clarity, confidence and purpose.
