Fashion Industry Insights from Malaysia’s Buzzworthy Designer Dickson Lim

Sunway College and STYLO hosted a fashion industry sharing session featuring acclaimed Malaysian designer Dickson Lim.

Recently in the spotlight for styling Beyoncé’s stylist Ty Hunter at the 2026 Met Gala, Dickson Lim made history as the first Malaysian menswear designer to gain representation at fashion’s most prestigious event.

During the session, he shared his personal journey in the fashion industry, offering valuable insights and advice to students from the Diploma in Fashion Design Technology and Fashion Media programmes.

The event concluded with a hands-on workshop, where Dickson Lim demonstrated professional design techniques, giving students practical exposure and industry-relevant skills.
