MUFY Games 2026 Brings Students Together Through Sports and Team Spirit

The MUFY Games 2026 was a resounding success, bringing together approximately 850 students in a day filled with excitement, teamwork, and healthy competition. The event reflected Monash University Foundation Year’s (MUFY) ongoing commitment to promoting physical well-being and an active lifestyle in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
Students participated in a diverse range of sporting events, including badminton, basketball, futsal, pickleball, bowling, table tennis, captain ball, dodge ball, blitz chess, tele-match activities, and trio games featuring charades, Pictionary, and Taboo. The variety of activities ensured that every student had an opportunity to contribute, compete, and connect with their peers.

The event was made possible through the dedication of numerous student volunteers and staff members, whose hard work ensured the smooth execution of the games. Their enthusiasm and commitment helped create a welcoming and energetic environment throughout the day.
Outstanding performances were recognised with medals awarded to champions and runners-up across all events. Beyond the victories, the games celebrated values such as teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship, and mutual support among students.

MUFY Games 2026 once again proved to be more than just a sporting event. It was a celebration of community, friendship, and the importance of maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Congratulations to all participants, volunteers, and organisers for making this year’s games a memorable success.
