MUFY Sharity Run 2026 Raises RM14,000 for Children Cancer Association Malaysia

The MUFY "Sharity" Run 2026, held on 24 May 2026 at Sunway South Quay Lake, successfully brought together the Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) and Sunway community in support of a meaningful cause while promoting healthy living and community engagement.

Officiated by YB Michelle Ng, the State Assemblywoman for Subang Jaya, the charity run attracted close to 400 participants, comprising students, staff, alumni, and members of the public. Participants took on the scenic 5KM route around Sunway South Quay Lake, united by a common goal of making a positive difference in the lives of children battling cancer.

The event raised an impressive RM14,000 for the Children Cancer Association Malaysia (CCAM). The funds will support CCAM's efforts in providing medical assistance, psychological support, and essential resources for children with cancer and their families. In line with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being, the event also encouraged participants to embrace an active lifestyle while fostering a spirit of compassion and giving back to the community.
