Ready2Work Series Equips Students for Career Success

Sunway Career Services successfully concluded its Ready2Work Series, a three-part workshop programme designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to navigate today's competitive job market. The series began with Career Starter Kit: Personal Branding, LinkedIn & Resume Strategies, conducted by Hays Recruitment. Attended by over 100 students from diploma, degree, and professional studies programmes, the session covered job search fundamentals, personal branding, resume writing, and interview preparation, providing participants with a strong foundation for their career journey.

Building on this momentum, the second session, Build a Winning CV with Generative AI, was led by PwC. Students gained practical insights into leveraging AI tools, optimising keywords, and tailoring CVs to specific roles and industries. The series concluded in June with Ace the Interview: Impress and Land the Job, facilitated by Find Talents. Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, students learned effective interview preparation techniques, communication skills, and strategies to present themselves confidently to prospective employers. The strong participation across all three sessions reflected students' growing commitment to developing workplace-ready skills and enhancing their employability. Beyond technical know-how, the workshops provided valuable industry perspectives and actionable advice to help students stand out in an evolving job market.
