Sunway, A-Level of Great Achievement

The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards issued by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) celebrate the success of learners taking Cambridge examinations in more than 10,000 schools in countries worldwide. The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards hold the highest benchmark in the A-Level education.

Sunway A-Level students were awarded Top in Malaysia and Top in the World for their outstanding performance in the A-Level November 2021 CAIE examination series.

Two students were awarded first place and received the Best Across titles for achieving an A grade; they attained the first highest cumulative total standard marks over a set number of subjects.

“I’m very honoured to receive the awards,” said Fu Chuan Zhe who got Best Across Four for CAIE A-Level and achieved the Top in the World for both Mathematics and Further Mathematics.

“The past few years have been challenging and it’s very heart-warming to see how everyone has excelled despite the hardships. I’m grateful to my lecturers, family and friends who have supported me throughout my journey,” said Fu.

Tan Hong Jun received the Best Across Three award for CAIE A Level and achieved Top in Malaysia for Further Mathematics.
