Sunway College Ipoh's Merdeka Celebration and "One Touch, One Love" Initiative

Sunway College Ipoh celebrated Merdeka Day with a meaningful event on 29th August 2024. The highlight was the launch of the "One Touch, One Love" fund-raising initiative, led by students from the School of Accounting as part of their Community Service Learning (CSL) subject. Inaugurated by Principal Pn. Wan Nor Haliza Wan Harun and programme coordinator Ms. Liza Wong, the initiative aims to raise funds for the Persatuan Penganut Buddhist Lian Hua She Ipoh Perak.

The celebration included a spirited rendition of national songs, led by the School of Accounting students. Traditional Malaysian snacks and games like Congkak and Batu Seremban added to the festive atmosphere.

This event underscored Sunway College Ipoh's commitment to community service and cultural appreciation, with the "One Touch, One Love" initiative showcasing the impact of student-led efforts.
