Sunway College KL Diploma Students Shine On The National Stage

Congratulations to our Sunway College diploma students who stood shoulder-to-shoulder with undergraduate teams from various institutions across Malaysia and earned a spot in the Top 10.

This remarkable achievement was accomplished by Half The Way, a team comprising Kee Yung Shen, Liu Qiu Yang, and Lim Hong Jie, who pursued their Diploma in Information Technology at Sunway Diploma Studies (SDS). They represented Sunway College KL in the UMPSA x Huawei AppGallery Mobile App Competition Grand Finale on 20 November 2024 at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).

Competing against 120 teams and over 250 participants from universities nationwide, Half The Way rose to the challenge and secured their place as Top 10 Finalists in Track B. Their journey exemplifies the power of determination, innovation, and hard work in overcoming challenges and achieving excellence.
