Sunway Diploma Studies Students Sharpen Their Application Skills with Hays

Sunway Career Services collaborated with Hays to organise the Sunway Diploma Studies (SDS) Application & Prep Workshop, bringing together 118 students from various majors who are preparing to begin their internships in January 2027.

The workshop equipped students with practical skills and knowledge to navigate the internship application process with confidence. Key topics included CV writing, application dos and don’ts, the effective use of artificial intelligence (AI) in job applications, and essential interview tips. Students gained insights into presenting their qualifications, experiences and strengths effectively while understanding employer expectations throughout the recruitment process.

The session also highlighted how AI can support application preparation when used thoughtfully and responsibly, while maintaining authenticity in personal branding. Through this collaboration, students gained practical strategies to strengthen their applications and prepare for upcoming internship opportunities.
