Sunway Pre-U Friendship Run 2026: Running Together, Making a Difference

The Sunway Pre-U Friendship Run 2026 brought together approximately 700 participants for a morning of fitness, friendship and community spirit. The event was officiated by YB Michelle Ng Mei Sze, State Assemblyperson for Subang Jaya, who delivered an address to participants. Prof Dr Cheng Mien Wee, Director of Pre-University Studies, Sunway College and Executive Director of Sunway International School, also addressed participants, highlighting the importance of coming together to make a meaningful difference in the community.

More than just a run, the event raised RM12,000 to support families in need. The funds will contribute towards an upcoming community outreach project organised in partnership with Penggerak Belia Selangor (PeBS) Subang Jaya. Participants took part in the 5KM run before enjoying carnival activities and a lucky draw to round off the morning.

The organising committee extends its heartfelt appreciation to the generous sponsors, Monash University Malaysia, Statworks, Yogood Malaysia, Grainlive and Lynn’s Catering, for their valuable support.

A special thank you also goes to the dedicated volunteers and organising committee members whose time, energy and commitment made the event possible. Together, the community showed how every step can make a difference.
