Sunway TES College JB Cultivates a Vibrant Reading and Library Culture

Sunway TES College Johor Bahru successfully organised the Let's Read Together for 10 Minutes 2026 programme, achieving full attendance from Diploma and CFAB students with the support and encouragement of their lecturers. Students brought along their own reading materials and joined fellow library users in a collective 10-minute reading session, reinforcing the importance of reading as a lifelong habit.

As part of the programme, winners of the BookTalk (Online Version) shared reviews of their favourite books and recommended inspiring reads to fellow participants, fostering a culture of reading, knowledge sharing, and meaningful discussion.

In conjunction with Librarians' Day (6 June), the TES Iskandar Library also celebrated Library Day 2026 on 23 June 2026. The event welcomed 18 participants, comprising staff, AFIA students, and Diploma students enrolled in Business English and Business Communication under the guidance of Mr. Iswaran.

Participants enjoyed an SDG-themed pouch decorating activity alongside a series of interactive library games. To recognise and celebrate enthusiastic library users, the Dedicated Learner Award and Dedicated Library User Award were presented to deserving recipients.
