VU Students Explore Career Opportunities Through AirAsia Industry Visit

In May 2026, students from Victoria University @ Sunway had the valuable opportunity to visit AirAsia for an insightful industry exposure experience designed to bridge academic learning with real-world industry practices and enhance career readiness.

The session featured an engaging sharing by Kesavan Sivanandam, who provided students with insights into the aviation industry's operations, organisational resilience, digital transformation initiatives, emerging industry trends, and the challenges of driving change within large organisations. Students also gained practical career advice on employability, including the key skills employers seek in fresh graduates and strategies for standing out in a competitive job market.

The visit included an interactive question-and-answer session, followed by an informative office tour conducted by the AirAsia team, giving students a first-hand look at the company's dynamic and innovative work environment.
