Waves of Change by Victoria University Business Club

On the 3rd of May 2025, 17 student members of the Victoria University Business Club (VUBC) came together for a beach clean-up at Pantai Bagan Pinang, Port Dickson.

Recognising the alarming litter problem that threatens the natural biodiversity, coastal ecosystem and the health of marine life, the team dedicated two hours to collecting waste along the shoreline. Their efforts resulted in the removal of 12 bags of trash, totalling approximately 20 kilograms of waste.

This initiative is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 3 (Good Health and Well-being), No.13 (Climate Action), and No. 14 (Life Below Water).

The effort is an on-going reflection of VUBC team's passionate commitment to environmental sustainability and community well-being as well as fostering a deep sense of social responsibility and camaraderie among club members.

VUBC hopes to continue organising similar events and continue their efforts to make a meaningful difference through their club activities to create a better future for all.
