SUF GLOBAL GATHERING 2026: CHUP: Mix & Mingle

Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah Hall was filled with excitement on 4th May 2026 as we hosted CHUP: Mix & Mingle, a welcoming event for our January and April 2026 international student intakes. The event brought together students from diverse backgrounds, creating a warm and friendly space for them to meet, interact, and begin building connections.

Students had the opportunity to visit booths hosted by the International Office and WECARE team, where they received helpful support and guidance as they adjusted to campus life.

A key highlight of the event was the range of game and activity booths, offering students a fun introduction to Malaysian culture through traditional games and local food. These activities encouraged participation, sparked curiosity, and helped students engage with one another in a relaxed setting. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy.

The lucky draw brought excitement to the event, adding a sense of anticipation, while the photo booth captured joyful moments and new friendships throughout the day.

Overall, CHUP: Mix & Mingle was a memorable and successful event. It was truly fulfilling to see students open up, connect, and enjoy themselves. The event not only created opportunities for cultural exchange but also marked the beginning of meaningful friendships and a strong sense of community among our international students. Through this event, our aim was to create a safe space for students to connect and feel comfortable.
