APEL.C is the award of credits for the prior experiential learning towards a course in an accredited programme of the Institution.
APEL.C
Who May Apply

All registered students of Sunway College (KL). APEL.C is confined to courses in programmes offered by Sunway College (KL) except for foundation studies, final year project and dissertation. |

Local and International students may apply. |

| Stage | Stage Description |
| First Stage- Self Assessment |
Student will be required to complete a Self-Assessment exercise with the guidance of the appointed Advisor/ Head of Programme. Student submits the 500-word report related to the course applied such as details of work history, training or other formal qualifications relevant to the application. The application will be reviewed by the Advisor. |
| Second Stage- Assessment |
If the evaluation of the Self-Assessment exercise is successful, student will be invited to attend the APEL.C Assessment. The advisor will recommend the student on the appropriate mode of assessment either to take Challenge Test or submitting a Portfolio. The evaluation will be done by the Assessor. |
| Third Stage- Result |
To satisfy the requirement of credit awards, student must be able to demonstrate an achievement of at least 50% of each Course Learning Outcome. If student pass the APEL.C Assessment, course credit will be awarded and reflected in the exam transcript. |
