Beyond Classroom Learning: Career Preparation Workshop

Sunway College @ Velocity (SCV) recently held a Career Preparation workshop in collaboration with Hiredly, a leading recruitment platform in Malaysia. A total of 100 students from SCV and Sunway College KL were invited to attend this workshop.

The workshop was led by speakers from Hiredly, with their lead speaker, Joselyn Lau, the People & Culture Manager at Hiredly, sharing valuable insights on resume writing and also interview skills as well. The participants were engaged in interview role-playing activities and received beneficial insights on the aspects that recruiters prioritise when reviewing resumes.

This workshop was organised by Ms. Lee Yi Ying, our Head of Diploma Programmes, together with fellow academic staff with a primary focus on supporting our students especially those who will be going for their internship soon, so that they can secure better internship opportunities both in their diploma and future degree studies.
