Learning Beyond Classroom

As part of their Introduction to Psychology assessment, FIA & FIST students from the January (C) & March 2018 intake exhibited their findings on a variety of psychological disorders. From the common ones such as anxiety, depression, and eating disorders to the rarer ones such as schizophrenia, dissociative identity disorder (DID), and Alice in Wonderland syndrome, the students aimed to raise awareness on the reality of the symptoms with these disorders and on how to cope with them. And as students worked on the exhibition research and materials for 8 weeks long, it taught them to work in a team, to plan and execute a project, and to persevere through short-term tasks in order to accomplish a bigger picture in the long term.
