Sunway University Press Successfully Launched!

On 5th January 2018, Sunway University Press was officially launched as the publishing house of Sunway University. During the launch, Sunway University Press presented its first two publications of the year to celebrate this important milestone – Great Thinkers, Great Minds: Sunway University Professorial Lecture Series and All About Derivatives: Mathematical Differentiation for College Students.

Sunway University Press was established to complement Sunway University’s vision of becoming an Asian powerhouse of knowledge. By creating and disseminating knowledge cultivated within Sunway University, the public will have better access to the University’s research, public lectures and academic materials. Sunway University Press also aims to publish works that will appeal more to the mass market and offer publishing opportunities to eager writers outside of the University.

The event received substantial media coverage on local news outlets, such as The Star, The Edge, Utusan Malaysia, China Press, TV3 and ntv7.
